Question: What are you doing on this New Year's Day?
I'm going to be a pot of gumbo - I've never made gumbo in my entire life. I found a recipe in a cooking magazine so I thought I'd give it a try!

Happy New Year, Cecelia! I didn't make any special plans for New Year's Eve or today. I did whatever I felt like. I sat at home watching DVR'd programs, editing/critiquing my group's chapters for our upcoming meeting, making lasagna, and relaxing. I feel very good about things right now.
Hey, Anne! Glad to see you had a pleasant and restful New Year's! The gumbo that I made was spicy and delicious! We're looking forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow! Wishing you a blessed 2012!
